Calidad de la educación superior en colombia: un análisis multinivel con base en el ECAES de Economía 2004

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza la calidad de la educación superior en Colombia medida a través del ECAES de Economía de 2004. Se realizó un análisis multinivel con datos de 2377 estudiantes y 59 programas de Economía ubicados en 52 universidades en todo el pais. Se determinó que existen diferencias significativas entre los puntajes medios de las universidades y entre los obtenidos por los estudiantes que son explicadas por sus características personales y por las características de la institución a la que pertenecen.
