Abstract

Se hace una reflexión crítica sobre las prácticas creativas de escritura de ciertos antropólogos o etnógrafos que. sin dejar ¡a pretensión de generar conocimiento antropológico, optan a la vez. por incluirlas en la categoría de “artísticas ” y. específicamente. "poéticas ” El asunto se trabaja teniendo como referente concreto el intento del antropólogo estadounidense Miles Richardson. quien en 1970 publicó una pequena etnografía sobre San Pedro. Valle. Colombia: y en 1998 escribió un poema sobre el mismo San Pedro, sin desistir de la idea de seguir haciendo etnografía.
