Producción bibliográfica en Colombia

Abstract

Este trabajo muestra un análisis de la producción bibliográfica presente en los servicios de indexación más referenciados dentro de los que se encuentran Web of Science (WoS), SCIELO y Scopus para el periodo de 2008 a 2017. Partiendo de las características de las publicaciones científicas de los investigadores adscritos a instituciones colombianas se construyen indicadores bibliométricos los cuales son útiles para el posterior análisis en campos de investigación, procesos de difusión y transmisión del conocimiento generado. Estos indicadores pueden delimitarse a nivel de autor, departamento o entidad, o de acuerdo con las temáticas, disciplinas científicas o áreas del conocimiento. Para la construcción de estos indicadores, se creó un algoritmo que permite la homologación de los productos presentes en las tres bases de datos con el fin de identificar productos únicos y las categorías o desagregaciones requeridas, relacionadas principalmente con: tipología del documento, tipo de coautoría, áreas de conocimiento, registro de citas.
