    Este trabajo muestra que algunos problemas sociológicos relacionados con la definición del crimen organizado afectan también los esfuerzos del legislador para definir el correspondiente tipo penal. Se trata de mostrar que lograr una definición del crimen organizado es muy difícil en la medida en que una gran cantidad de delitos requiere para su comisión una mínima planificación y organización. Se muestra en el texto algunos esfuerzos del Estado Colombiano, por lo demás fallidos, por definir este tipo penal.
