Eficiencia de los mecanismos de transferencia de tecnología según Maskus

Abstract

Este escrito tiene el propósito de resenar y exponer algunos aspectos de la transferencia de tecnología en el ámbito de la Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED) y el licenciamiento, que los autores Maskus, Saggi y Puttitanun presentan en su artículo Patentes y transferencia de tecnología internacional a través de Inversión Directa y Licenciamiento. Este escrito consta de tres partes. En la primera se presentan las particularidades del proceso de transferencia de tecnología entre países; en la segunda, se esbozan las características de los países y las empresas receptoras de conocimiento; en la tercera, se muestran los efectos que tiene un fortalecimiento de los derechos de propiedad intelectual en la transferencia de tecnología dependiendo de los países y las empresas que transfieran y reciban el conocimiento.
