La pequena y mediana empresa durante el proceso de apertura económica en Colombia

Abstract

Durante el segundo semestre de 1995, la Universidad EAFIT financió la realización de un estudio tendiente a medir el impacto que la apertura económica había tenido en algunos sectores manufactureros del Valle de Aburrá Para el efecto, se escogieron las actividades productoras de alimentos procesados, textiles, confecciones, cuero-calzado y bienes metalmecánicos. Estos sectores tienen en común el uso intensivo de mano de obra, una contribución importante en el empleo y el producto regionales, el desarrollo de experiencias exportadoras y, por último, gran participación de las pequenas y medianas empresas.
