Abstract

Este cuarto volumen de la serie La academia y el sector rural reúne seis documentos referidos a temas diversos de la problemática rural colombiana. Dos de ellos recogen aspectos sobre la producción académica relacionada con la ganadería bovina; otro describe los aportes realizados por diferentes investigadores sobre la evolución de la producción agropecuaria. También se incluye un documento donde se intenta definir el concepto de desempeno del sector; en otro de los documentos se hacen algunas referencias a los estudios de prospectiva para el sector, y finalmente se incluyen algunas reflexiones sobre el tema de la universidad frente a la globalización.
