Abstract

Este documento intenta responder a la pregunta de si la organización políticaadministrativa de los Estados influye su desempeno en el campo de la CTI. Al efecto se realiza un análisis comparativo en una muestra de dos países federales (Australia y Canadá) y tres unitarios (Chile, Irlanda y Noruega). Los resultados sugieren que el grado de descentralización de las políticas de CTI no parece ser una variable que impacte los indicadores de capacidades y resultados en el campo de la CTI a nivel del conjunto del país. Se advierte sin embargo, que para sacar conclusiones mas terminantes, se requeriria examinar una muestra más amplia de países.
