Abstract

Integración de los precios en los canalesminorista y mayorista arroz, papa y fríjol en laciudad de CaliJulio César Alonsoa, Ana Isabel GallegobUniversidad Icesi, Cienfi (Centro de Investigación en Economía y Finanzas) CaliRecibido: 05/08/2010 Aceptado: 18/11/2010ResumenA partir de un análisis de cointegración y causalidad y modelos VAR en diferencias,se estudian las relaciones de largo y corto plazo entre los precios en el canal mayoristay minorista, del arroz, fríjol y papa para la ciudad de Cali. Se encuentra que la únicacadena de comercialización integrada-entre el nivel mayorista y minorista- es lade papa parda pastusa. En el corto plazo se encuentra una relación de causalidadMayorista a Minorista para arroz y papa, pero una relación de causalidad inversa parael caso del fríjol.
