La creación de empresas en Colombia desde las percepciones femenina y masculina

Abstract

ResumenDe acuerdo con el Informe GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) sobre Colombia,la tasa de emprendimiento femenino ha sido menor que la de los hombres en losúltimos tres anos. Muchos son los factores que pueden explicar esta realidad. En estainvestigación se indaga sobre la influencia que tienen las variables de percepciónaquellasque son particulares de cada individuo-, para entender las diferencias entrelas mujeres y los hombres al momento de tomar la decisión de iniciar una nuevaempresa.La revisión teórica y el marco conceptual fueron la base para seleccionar seis variablesque se considera explican estas diferencias: temor al fracaso, auto percepción dehabilidades, percepción de oportunidades, conocimiento de otros empresarios,existencia de negocios similares y motivación para emprender. Se utilizan las basesde datos unificadas del GEM Colombia, 2007, 2008 y 2009.
