Hacia una epistemología del desarrollo económico venezolano en el contexto del socialismo del siglo XXI

Abstract

La preocupación por el desarrollo es recurrente en el análisis y en el discurso económico y político de los diferentes países. El debate en torno al tema, en Venezuela no es ajeno a lo que ocurre en otras latitudes. En el ámbito interno, el tema se aborda desde la línea ideológica del gobierno de turno, apuntalado con lineamientos y modelos que se proyectan y prueban en otras partes del mundo. En este sentido, se destaca la preocupación por lo territorial y lo local, introducido en el ámbito nacional como estandarte revolucionario, a través del llamado desarrollo endógeno; sin embargo, hay una marcada incongruencia entre lo que se propone como modelo y las decisiones que se asumen en torno a la política económica, producto tanto de la poca profundización epistemológica, como de la escasa importancia que se le asigna a la dinámica estructural del sistema económico venezolano.
