Abstract

En este ensayo se documenta el papel amortiguador de la deuda p�blica interna del gobierno nacional, durante la gran depresi�n de principios de los 1930. Una diversidad de choque externos, entre ellos una confrontaci�n b�lica con un pa�s lim�trofe, afect� a la econom�a en esa �poca. A trav�s de diversos medios comentados en este documento, la deuda p�blica interna sirvi� para absorber los choques adversos sobre la econom�a, provenientes del exterior.
