Abstract

CONTENTS: En este trabajo se analiza la relación entre el valor de una empresa y la propiedad accionarial, desde el punto de vista de la teoría de la agencia. Para ello, se estudian las sociedades no financieras cotizadas en el mercado continuo español para el periodo 1995-2004. Además se analiza si durante el último periodo muestral estas relaciones han mostrado una mejora en el sistema institucional español y si la personalidad de los accionistas tiene efectos sobre el valor de una empresa.
