Appui gouvernemental à l’innovation : Proposition de cadre intégré

Abstract

L’innovation constitue un enjeu stratégique, tant en matière de politique publique qu’au sein des entreprises. Le présent rapport aborde la question de l’appui à l’innovation de manière intégrée, c’est-à-dire tant du point de vue de l’offre que de celui de la demande. À notre avis, ces deux dimensions sont complémentaires dans le développement d’un écosystème innovant. En outre, le rapport souligne l’importance stratégique que jouent la mise en œuvre et la commercialisation de l’innovation afin que la société dans son ensemble et les organisations en tirent tous les avantages. Notre analyse s’articule autour de six modèles d’appui à l’innovation, lesquels incluent notamment MaRS à Toronto ainsi que Teralys à Montréal. Un constat qui émerge est que la réussite dans l’appui à l’innovation ne repose pas sur un modèle unique.
