SAM 2008 para Chile. Una Presentación Matricial de la Compilación de Referencia 2008

Abstract

The main objective of this working paper is presents the Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) 2008, based on official Chilean national accounts published in 2011 and 2012. Besides, this work allows three complementary objectives, did not found in most of the SAMs publications: a) including non financial and financial stocks measurements; b) establishing the SAM as a map of economic data system, giving the keys to insert balance of payments, public finance statistics, monetary and financial statistics, satellite accounts and regional accounts; c) setting up the data model and the Microsoft Access-Excel data base of SAM 2008. By this way, the fundaments are given to organize relational data base that support the SAM and feasible extensions.
