La fonología del español argentino

Abstract

Este trabajo describe la fonología del español hablado en la Argentina. Luego de considerar el inventario de fonemas de dicha variedad de español (tanto en lo referido a las vocales como a las consonantes) y sus principales alófonos y reglas fonológicas (incluyendo un apartado sobre la neutralización de fonemas y otro sobre el uso del acento como elemento distintivo), hay una descripción de las principales variaciones de pronunciación en las diferentes zonas geográficas de la Argentina. El trabajo incluye también una sección sobre la estructura silábica, que analiza las combinaciones permitidas de los distintos fonemas, así como también algunos aspectos ligados con procesos de resilabificación (cuando las palabras se pronuncian dentro de un discurso concatenado).
