El retraso de la Argentina y su coincidencia con el cierre de la economía

Abstract

Este breve trabajo ha mostrado la coetaniedad entre el retraso del PIB per cápita argentino y el derrumbe del comercio exterior del país, originado – este último – en la política de sustitución de importaciones iniciada en la década de 1930, política profundizada por el peronismo (1946/55) y solo morigerada después de 1955. También se ha mostrado el efecto deletéreo que tuvieron las mega e hiperinflaciones de 1975/90, fenómenos con raíces en la monetización de déficits fiscales
