Un método prospectivo simplificado para la estimación de daños en casos de defensa de la competencia

El presente trabajo presenta un método prospectivo simplificado que sirve para estimar incrementos y reducciones de precios esperados, asociados con casos antitrust de prácticas colusivas y de abusos de posición de dominio en los cuales no resulta posible comparar datos reales de situaciones alternativas competitivas y anticompetitivas. Los incrementos y reducciones calculadas sirven a su vez para estimar daños (y, eventualmente, multas e indemnizaciones) relacionados con los casos en cuestión. El método aparece ilustrado con datos provenientes del mercado argentino de cierto insumo petroquímico.
