Abstract

This report presents data from the 2000 NYTS that describe the use of tobacco products, other than cigarettes, among a nationally representative sample of middle and high school students. The report also examines the relationship between cigarette use and the use of other tobacco products. All of the analyses in the report are strtified by the demographic characteristics, such as grade level, gender, and race/ethnicity. Further, the report compares the findings from the 2000 NYTS with findings from the 1999 NYTS.
