Abstract

A travers l'extension des secteurs parapublics, les Etats africains de l'UMOA se sont attaqués à la valorisation d'une pluralité d'objectifs ayant donné forme à un dessein de politique économique. Ces organisations productives ont été notamment utilisées pour garantir une certaine stabilité des prix compatible avec un système de change fixe. L'article suggère que la pesée arbitraire de l'Etat sur la formation des prix de ces entreprises a été relativement inefficace. L'impact des contrôles directs a en effet été tourné par un comportement d'emprunt intérieur et extérieur qui a eu pour effet de susciter une dynamique monétaire inflationniste.
