Administración activa de portafolios para Reservas Internacionales del BCB

Abstract

El BCB ha invertido tradicionalmente sus reservas internacionales en títulos de renta fija, bajo un enfoque conservador. Dado el actual escenario de mercado de bajas tasas de interés y un incremento del nivel de reservas, se ha vuelto más importante aumentar las desviaciones a partir de una administración pasiva buscando incrementar el retorno potencial de estos recursos. En ese sentido, se ha establecido un proceso para alcanzar esa meta, que es una administración más activa de portafolios. El presente documento presenta un punto de vista general de las estrategias activas para un portafolio, desarrollando las estrategias y la metodología para las transacciones.
