Capital físico, capital humano y fluctuaciones agregadas en Uruguay

Abstract

Este trabajo investiga el efecto de incluir la inversión en capital humano en un modelo simple del ciclo de negocios reales. El punto de partida es un modelo de crecimiento estocástico simple guiado por shocks tecnológicos, el cual se expande al introducir la formación en capital humano realizada por los individuos. Las empresas, por su parte, reciben una externalidad positiva al contar con trabajadores más productivos sin haber financiado directamente su formación. Se computa la regla de decisión óptima y se comparan algunos hechos estilizados predichos por el modelo con los de la realidad uruguaya.
