Abstract

In France, extreme downside risks to growth stem primarily from non-financial private sector debt levels and market uncertainty in the short term, then economic uncertainty and geopolitical risks in the longer term. This finding, derived from the “Growth-at-Risk” approach, holds true whether the indicators are considered individually or combined.
