The analysis behind the ECB’s Strategy Review

Abstract

In July 2021, the ECB announced a new monetary policy strategy. Behind the scenes, staff of the Eurosystem produced a comprehensive and detailed analysis to support the Governing Council. This blog summarises the main outcomes and will provide links to future blogs explaining the background material. En juillet 2021, la BCE a annoncé une nouvelle stratégie de politique monétaire. En amont, les services de l’Eurosystème ont produit une analyse approfondie et détaillée sur laquelle le Conseil des gouverneurs s’est appuyé. Ce billet résume les principales conclusions de la revue de la stratégie et met en lien des billets à paraître expliquant les études sous-jacentes.
