Les organismes d’assurance exerçant une activité de santé et de prévoyance en France en 2022

Abstract

Avec 58,9 milliards d’euros de primes, l’assurance de dommages corporels, qui couvre la santé et la prévoyance, est le premier risque en assurance non-vie (49 % de l’ensemble des primes collectées en assurance non-vie en 2022). Cette activité est la principale pour les mutuelles régies par le code de la mutualité et les institutions de prévoyance mais est une activité minoritaire pour les sociétés d’assurance : 91 % de l’ensemble des primes d’assurance non-vie collectées par les mutuelles régies par le code de la mutualité (85 % pour les frais de soins et 6 % pour les autres dommages corporels) et 87 % par les institutions de prévoyance (respectivement 53 % et 34 %), contre 39 % au sein des assureurs-vie et mixtes (respectivement 19 % et 20 %) et 13 % chez les assureurs non-vie (respectivement 8 % et 5 %), à l’activité plus diversifiée.
