Abstract

The International Conference on Urban Economy and Regional Development (ICUERD-26) will be held on 26–27 February 2026 in Rome, Italy, in a hybrid format. The conference brings together researchers, academicians, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss contemporary issues in urban economy and regional development. Core topics include urban and regional economic strategies, economic geography, innovation districts, urban competitiveness, smart city economics, economic resilience, and sustainable development. ICUERD-26 provides an interdisciplinary platform for oral and poster presentations, knowledge exchange, and networking, aiming to foster collaboration and advance research addressing current urban and regional economic challenges.
