Encuesta Financiera de las Familias (EFF) 2024: métodos, resultados y cambios desde 2022

Abstract

En este documento se presentan los principales resultados de la Encuesta Financiera de las Familias 2024, que muestran la situación financiera de los hogares españoles a finales de ese año. Estos resultados permiten caracterizar conjuntamente las rentas, los activos, las deudas y los gastos de los hogares españoles en un contexto definido por la transición desde una fase de intensa perturbación inflacionista —a consecuencia de la guerra de Ucrania y la crisis energética, así como por el endurecimiento de la política monetaria— hacia otra en la que la moderación de la inflación, la fortaleza del empleo y la mejora gradual de las condiciones financieras favorecieron una evolución más positiva de la actividad económica y de la renta real de los hogares. Asimismo, se describen los cambios más relevantes ocurridos en estas dimensiones con respecto a la última edición de la encuesta, correspondiente a 2022.
