La production potentielle au Canada : évaluation de 2025

Abstract

Nous explorons deux scénarios concernant la croissance de la production potentielle afin de mieux comprendre les conséquences économiques liées à différentes politiques commerciales possibles. Dans le scénario 1, les États-Unis imposent des droits de douane limités sur les exportations canadiennes. Dans le scénario 2, les droits limités du scénario 1 demeurent, et une hausse permanente et généralisée de 25 % des droits de douane américains est imposée sur les importations de tous les pays, sauf du Canada et du Mexique.
