Abstract

This article analyses the current situation of waste generated in the county of Cluj, which helps in identifying the needs for future development in the waste management system. The analysis of the current situation reflects the state of the waste management in Cluj County having as source reliable statistical data. It leads to the identification and prioritization of the problems in this field by creating a sufficient basis for the analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
