Abstract

In 2017, a technical committee (TC) was established to prepare a research paper on Deposit Insurers' Role in Contingency Planning and System-wide Crisis Preparedness and Management. The TC conducted a survey of IADI members to gather information about practices among members relating to: (i) characteristics of the financial safety-net (FSN); (ii) contingencyplanning; (iii) information sharing; and (iv) system-wide crisis preparedness and management. Sixty-one (out of eighty-two IADI members) responded to the survey. Eleven IADI members also provided case studies.
