Le modèle de croissance marocain : opportunités et vulnérabilités

Abstract

Dans une région affectée par divers chocs depuis la crise financière internationale de 2008, le Maroc se singularise par une relative stabilité et par une certaine résilience. Pour autant, le modèle de croissance du Maroc montre plusieurs signes d‘essoufflement, notamment l’aggravation des déséquilibres macroéconomiques qu’il génère et la difficulté à créer des emplois et à réduire le chômage, en particulier chez les jeunes. Cette étude présente une analyse de la situation macroéconomique du Maroc et s‘articule autour de quatre parties : les enjeux du pays en matière de développement humain ; les forces et les faiblesses du modèle de croissance ; les fragilités des finances publiques et l’évolution des équilibres externes.
