Abstract

La Macédoine du Nord, petit pays enclavé des Balkans, indépendant depuis 1991, possède une histoire mouvementée, intrinsèquement liée à la quête d’une reconnaissance régionale et internationale. Le pays est aujourd’hui tourné vers l’Union européenne et dispose du statut de pays candidat à l’adhésion depuis 2005. Le renouvellement du modèle de développement est nécessaire, mais se heurte aux contraintes structurelles du pays ainsi qu’à la difficile identification de secteurs porteurs.
