Abstract

Aujourd’hui, plus de 2 milliards de personnes n’ont toujours pas accès à l’eau potable et plus de 3,6 milliards n’ont pas accès à l’assainissement. Dans de nombreux pays, le changement climatique accroît les risques sur le cycle de l’eau ; parallèlement, la pression quantitative et qualitative exercée sur les ressources en eau est une menace pour les personnes et les écosystèmes. Le manque d’accès aux services d’eau et d’assainissement et les défaillances dans la gestion durable des ressources en eau ont des conséquences dramatiques en termes de santé, d’égalité de genre, d’économie et d’environnement.
