Repenser le financement international des recherches africaines

Abstract

La recherche africaine, très inégalement répartie sur le continent, est encore faiblement représentée dans la production scientifique mondiale, notamment dans le domaine des sciences sociales. Or, il est fondamental de pouvoir s’appuyer sur une recherche nationale forte et autonome pour construire les réponses aux enjeux locaux de développement. Ce papier explore les enjeux d’une refonte du financement international de la recherche africaine et appelle à une prise de conscience globale, à la mise en place de systèmes de mesures, d’évaluation et d’incitation à travailler de manière coordonnée ainsi qu’à la constitution d’une coalition d’acteurs actifs et engagés.
