«Vulnerabilidades, amenazas y riesgos de salud en México. El caso del COVID-19 en las entidades federativas»

Abstract

Con información de las condiciones de vida de las personas, de los recursos del sistema de salud y de la presencia del COVID-19 en las entidades federativas se construyen mapas de vulnerabilidad, amenaza de contagio y posible riesgo a la vida. La vulnerabilidad de las personas es identificada de acuerdo a su edad, su esperanza de vida y la carencia de servicios y espacios en la vivienda. La del sistema de salud por su carencia de recursos humanos, físicos y financieros. La amenaza de contagio está dada por la presencia de casos confirmados de COVID-19, misma que al ser combinada con las vulnerabilidades proporciona una aproximación al riesgo a la vida. La información es manejada en términos de índices de vulnerabilidades, amenazas y riesgos para identificar entidades que se desvían más de lo normal de los valores promedios y en consecuencia representan casos extremos.
