Warum nutzen Arbeitgeber Kurzarbeit?

Abstract

Für den Einsatz von Kurzarbeit gibt es aus Arbeitgebersicht unterschiedliche Gründe. Neben der Personalbindung geht es den Betrieben vor allem darum, ihre Arbeitsprozesse aufrechtzuerhalten und ihre Liquidität in der Krise zu sichern. Das Motiv, die wirtschaftlichen Einbußen solidarisch unter den Beschäftigten zu verteilen, spielt demgegenüber erwartungsgemäß eine etwas geringere, aber keineswegs unbedeutende Rolle.
