Abstract

Mangelnde Chancengleichheit beim Zugang zu höherer Bildung führt zu einer Verfestigung sozialer Ungleichheit: Kinder mit geringem sozioökonomischem Status wechseln trotz gleichem Notenschnitt seltener aufs Gymnasium als privilegiertere Gleichaltrige. Mit einer einfachen Intervention in Form eines Mentorenprogramms lässt sich diese Lücke jedoch spürbar verringern.
