Cooperative Brands of Processed Foods

Author

Abstract

Excerpts from the report: Members of the general public, including many people in the farmer cooperative community itself, are unaware that many of the processed food products they buy carry brand names owned by farmer cooperatives. They are unaware of the contribution cooperatives make toward providing them with a wide array of safe and nutritious foods. This publication has a dual purpose: (1) to inform you of the extent that producers of agricultural products are involved in food processing and brand marketing through their cooperatives; and (2) to acquaint you with the wide array of cooperative branded food products.
