Cattle: Final Estimates for 1976-79

Abstract

This publication contains final cattle estimates, including reV1Slons for 1976-79. Data covered include annual and semi -annua 1 inventory est imates by classes, value of the inventory on January 1, annual calf crop and number of cattle operations, final estimates of cattle on feed for all States as of January 1, quarterly estimates for 23 major feeding States, and monthly data for 7 States. This report continues the official series published in Statistical Bulletin No. 589, issued January 1978.
