Abstract

Report Foreword: This study is one of a series that was undertaken by the Bureau of Agricultural Economics in an attempt to analyze various aspects of family living of Farm Security clients as revealed by an analysis of record books. This report deals with 38 Tenant–Purchase families in Farm Security Administration Region XII, during the calendar year 1939. These families were located as follows: Texas (Wheeler County – 10 families -- Randall County – 4 families – Floyd County – 3 families – Hansford County – 2 families) --- New Mexico (Roosevelt County – 7 families – Eddy County – 4 families) --- Colorado (Bent County – 5 families) --- Kansas (Wallace County – 2 families) --- Oklahoma (Texas County – 1 family).
