Abstract

Report Preface: This publication was compiled by the Data Services Center, Economic Research Service, as a ready reference for selected data series. Many of the tables have appeared in other bulletins. They are reproduced here for the convenience of users who have expressed a wish to have all of them available in a single publication. The tables refer largely to agricultural inputs (land, labor, fertilizer, etc.), to output, and to farm assets and income. The data were compiled in ERS, although much of the data originates in other agencies of the Department of Agriculture or in other Government agencies, notably the Bureau of the Census, U.S. Department of Commerce. A note at the foot of each table gives the primary data source or the publication containing the original data.
