Abstract

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service administers the Federal-State Market News Service, a program that provides a wide variety of information on current market conditions to the Nation's agricultural industry. This volume describes the operation of the service including the development of the various Market News reports. It identifies the data sources for different commodities, the specific reports issued, and the terminology used in the reports.
