Abstract

Excerpt from the report: The Central Project Office in the Agricultural Research Administration is an extension of the uniform Project System of the Department of Agriculture. The Office was established to implement and facilitate the effective coordination of research, marketing service, and statistical work by providing a more intensive and informative central record dealing with these categories of work. It maintains a continuing inventory of current agricultural work and makes analyses of the Department's research program. It assists in obtaining well-integrated and fully coordinated research, marketing service, and statistical programs in physical, economic, and related sciences.
