Abstract

Excerpt from the report Preface: This report supplies information on the location, condition, and adequacy of storage facilities for fats and oils and for oilseeds in the United States. The study on tank storage is based on data from 3,100 replies to questionnaires sent out by the Bureau of the Census in December 1951, at the request of the U. S. Department of Agriculture, to all known producers, industrial users, and warehousemen of fats and oils.
