Detergents, Emulsifiers, and Emulsion Products as Market Outlets for Fats and Oils

Abstract

Excerpt from the report Summary: Because of a declining market for fats and oils in the manufacture of soap and the outlook for continuing large supplies of fats and oils, producers are searching for expanded markets for new and improved markets for fats and oils. Two major possibilities comprise synthetic detergents and emulsifiers, closely related chemically but having, for the most part, different fields of use.
