Proposta Metodológica Para A Capacitação Gerencial De Agricultores Familiares

Abstract

O segmento da agricultura familiar assume papel sócio-econômico de grande importância no agronegócio brasileiro. Seu desenvolvimento é entendido como uma das pré-condições para uma sociedade economicamente mais eficiente e socialmente mais justa. Existe uma série de fatores que afetam significativamente o desempenho dos empreendimentos rurais. Muitas dessas variáveis fogem ao controle da unidade de produção, mas outras, como a gestão da produção, estão mais diretamente vinculadas ao seu controle. Problemas relacionados à sua sustentabilidade revelam a forte deficiência na administração de estabelecimentos rurais em geral e, em particular, na produção familiar. Assim, a proposta de um curso de extensão rural, na área gerencial, atua especificamente sobre esta deficiência, articulando as diversas ferramentas gerenciais de apoio à produção familiar. Neste contexto, este trabalho busca propor uma estrutura metodológica de capacitação gerencial de agricultores familiares de forma a contribuir para a sustentabilidade econômica da agricultura familiar, bem como para a melhoria da qualidade de vida no campo.
