O setor florestal e madeira e mobiliário na economia paraense a partir de uma visão intersetorial

Abstract

Este trabalho procura analisar as relações intersetoriais entre o setor florestal e de madeira e mobiliário frente aos demais setores da economia paraense. Para tanto, foi utilizada a Matriz de Contabilidade Social (MCS) do Estado do Pará para o ano de 1999, e os setores foram agrupados em um total de doze. A análise utilizou a alise clássica da teoria da localização através de indicadores como efeitos multiplicadores, ligações para frente e para trás entre os setores. O resultado das análises demonstra que o setor florestal e madeira e mobiliário são considerados setores-chave para o desenvolvimento da economia paraense, seno um a montante e outro a jusante no que tange a essas relações intersetoriais.
