Comercio justo e solidario em Territorio Kalunga

Abstract

Apresentam-se os principais resultados e discussões de dissertação de mestrado, cujo objeto é a experiência desenvolvida no empreendimento Kalunga Mercado Justo (KMJ), município de Cavalcante (GO), considerando-o, metodologicamente, como manifestação singular da conformação atual da sociedade capitalista. Com base em estudo de caso, na construção do objeto perseguiram-se os seguintes objetivos: compreender o surgimento, a evolução e os princípios do movimento de comércio justo; conhecer a estratégia utilizada pelo empreendimento KMJ, para prática do comércio justo; compreender de que maneira os quilombolas do Território Kalunga estão inseridos nessa alternativa comercial; identificar as potencialidades e as dificuldades de inserção dos produtos quilombolas no comércio justo; verificar a diferença de renda entre os quilombolas parceiros e os não parceiros do empreendimento. Dentre os resultados,destacam-se: a) os kalungas encontram-se abaixo da linha da pobreza e alguns abaixo da linha de indigência; b) há a necessidade de serem encontradas alternativas de geração de renda para a sobrevivência comunitária; c) o KJM é um empreendimento voltado para a economia de mercado e está longe de se constituir numa experiência de comércio justo ou comércio ético e solidário; d) o KJM proporciona uma alternativa para a comercialização dos produtos kalungas e a relação estabelecida com o empreendimento garante um incremento significativo na renda familiar; e) o desafio para a construção de uma nova forma de organizar a produção, a distribuição e o consumo de bens socialmente produzidos, e o exercício de experiências alternativas pode ser enfrentados pelos kalungas, desde que contem com o apoio de políticas públicas que, mesmo universais, não percam de vista as características singulares do grupo étnico. ----------------------------------------------------------- Presents the main results and discussions dissertation, whose object is the experience developed in the venture Kalunga Market Fair (KMJ), municipality of Cavalcante (GO), considering it methodologically as singular manifestation of the present conformation of capitalist society. Based on study case, the construction of the object pursued the following objectives: understanding the emergence, evolution and the principles of fair trade movement; know KMJ strategy used by the project, to practice fair trade; understand how the Maroons Territory Kalunga are included in this commercial alternative, identify the strengths and difficulties of integration of Maroons in fair trade products; verify the income gap between Maroons partners and non-partners of the venture. Among the results are: a) the Kalungas are below the poverty line and some below the indigence line, b) there is the need to find alternatives income generation for the survival community c) the KJM is a venture toward a market economy and is far from being a experience fair trade or fair trade; d) the KJM provides an alternative to marketing of products and Kalungas established relationship with the enterprise ensures a significant increase in family income, and) the challenge to build a new way of organizing production, distribution and consumption of goods socially produced, and the pursuit of alternative experiments can be faced by Kalunga, provided they have the support of public policies that, even universal, do not lose view the unique characteristics of the ethnic group.
