Demanda Mundial Por Uvas De Mesa E O Desempenho Das Exportações Brasileiras No Período De 1990 A 2005

Abstract

Nos últimos anos, apesar da baixa representatividade no mercado internacional, o agronegócio brasileiro de frutas ganhou dinamismo, impulsionado pelo mercado interno e pelas exportações. Nesse contexto, objetivou-se no presente estudo, analisar o desempenho do setor exportador brasileiro de uvas de mesa no período de 1990 a 2005. Para tanto, procurou-se descrever a evolução do setor exportador brasileiro e analisar e quantificar o desempenho das vendas externas de uvas de mesa, segundo indicadores selecionados. Este estudo caracteriza-se como sendo uma pesquisa empírico-analítica. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se de uma abordagem documental e todos os dados foram obtidos junto a sites relacionados ao tema. Para a análise de dados, mediu-se três indicadores de desempenho: Coeficiente de exportação, Market share doméstico e Taxa de auto-suprimento. Analisando os índices da produção e exportação de uva, nota-se que o Coeficiente de exportação apresentou oscilações durante todo o período analisado. A partir de 1999, o pólo de produção do Vale do São Francisco contribuiu mais fortemente para as exportações brasileiras, principalmente pelas adequações na produção e comercialização para o mercado internacional. Na taxa de auto-suprimento, nota-se que a produção do Brasil é auto-suficiente, no período analisado, sempre 1,5 a 2,5 maior do que a demanda interna do produto, gerando excedentes exportáveis. Quando são observados os índices do market-share domestico em valor, nota-se que houve aumento significativo da participação brasileira, variando entre 0,16 e 0,33 do valor total comercializado internacionalmente em uva de mesa. In that context, it was aimed at in the present study, to analyze the performance of the Brazilian exporting sector of table grapes in the period from 1990 to 2005. For so much, it tried to describe the evolution of the Brazilian exporting sector and to analyze and to quantify the performance of the external sales of table grapes, according to selected indicators. This study is characterized as being an empiric-analytical research. For the collection of data it was used of a documental approach and all the data were obtained in sites related to the theme close to. For the analysis of data, it was measured three performance indicators: Export coefficient, domestic market-share and solemnity-supply Tax. Analyzing the production and export indexes of grape, it is noticed that the export Coefficient presented oscillations during the period analyzed. Starting from 1999, the pole of production of the valley of São Francisco contributed more strongly to the Brazilian exports, mainly for the adaptations in the production and commercialization to the international market. In the solemnity-supply tax, it is noticed that the brazilian production is self-sufficient, in the analyzed period, always 1,5 to 2,5 larger than to the internal demand of the product, generating exportable surpluses. When the indexes of the domestic market-share are observed tame in value, it is noticed that there was significant increase of the Brazilian participation, varying among 0,16 and 0,33 of the total value marketed internationally in table grape. It is verified, therefore that the productive adaptations in the producing poles, so much in P&D, as in commercialization strategies, they collaborated for the increase of the competitiveness of the brazilian table grape).
