A Inserção Feminina no Mercado de Trabalho do Agronegócio: Uma Estudo Comparativo da Sadia e da Perdigão

Abstract

Resumo O estudo apresenta uma visão comparativa das práticas de evidenciação, no Balanço Social, dos indicadores sociais relacionados à inserção da mulher nas Empresas Sadia e Perdigão. A análise dos indicadores laborais pode oferecer informações relevantes para investidores e para a sociedade em geral quanto à proteção e ao estímulo do trabalho feminino. O estudo utiliza o banco de dados do Instituto Brasileiro de Análises Sociais e Econômicas, literatura nacional, informações constantes do Balanço Social das Empresas e dados da Pesquisa Mensal de Emprego do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística, no período de 2002 a 2006. Em uma era na qual o “capital humano” se tornou o principal ativo das empresas, estudar os indicadores laborais das mulheres pode ser uma ação relevante para o entendimento das práticas de diversidade da Sadia e da Perdigão que, dado o porte e a contribuição sócio-econômica, são candidatas naturais à empresas-modelo do agronegócio. Não obstante o crescimento da participação feminina, ainda não se obteve um equilíbrio entre os gêneros, principalmente nos cargos de gerência. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Abstract The study presents a comparative vision of the practical of disclosure, in Social Balance, of the social indicators related to the participation of the women workforce in the agribusiness companies Sadia and Perdigão. The analysis of the labor indicators can show relevant information for the investors and the society in respect of the protection and the stimulation of the women workforce. The study uses the database of the Brazilian Institute of Social and Economic Analysis, national literature, the companies’ information of Social Balance and data of the Monthly Research of Labor of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics since 2002 until 2006. In the human capital age, studying the labor indicators can be a relevant step to understand the diversity practices of Sadia and Perdigão that are natural candidates to benchmark agribusiness sector because the social and economic contributions and the size. Despite the growth of the female participation, still did not get equality between men and women workforce, mainly in the management positions.
